WHAT PART OF NO! DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND!
Apart from whipping up Instant Pudding, there aren't a lot of uses for a fork in the backcountry.
Test everything trust nothing.
Never rely on electronics.
NEVER EAT YELLOW SNOW
This is more something i understand but am still trying to learn :- Better to keep my mouth shut and be thought as stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
If you think you might just need it and you should pack it just in case. Remember your last trip and the reason you took it out after your debrief. YOU DONT NEED IT LEAVE IT AT HOME!
Murphys Law works just as fine in the mountains as it does in town: If you bring it you wont need it, if you dont bring it you will need it, if you bring it and you need it it wont go.
That it would be better to die peacefully whilst asleep, like my grandfather. Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car.
If you pay too much attention to the weather forecasts, you never do anything.
