Where is this?

Bit of a challenge since we can't go bush. Where is this photo (winner gets to go next). http://qrp.nz/system/images/6/IMG_20200319_172300_original.jpg Hint: the fenceline is the clue

The colourful scree up the side stream is a give-away. Hey, madpom, what have you done to the rendering of the 2019 topo maps in Routeguides? Pretty pink contours but text (eg hut names) is illegible.
Hmm. Yes - just spotted that and swore loudly. Rerunning the tiling of the latest 2019 map series now. Not sure what happened there. Takes a couple of days to tile the maps and then upload them so will fix itself over that time. In the meantime it should now be defaulting back to the 2009 map versions with the correct colours.
Ok. Will take this one since @bernieq doesn't seem keen to name. Banfield Hut / Jagged Stream?
Spot on! ( I don’t get the colourful scree hint though?)
Strider, there is an obvious red/orange scree in your photo, a little way up Jagged stream. I just looked for that in the aerial photos (via madpom's routeguides website) - visible in Jagged, not elsewhere. I'm running out of appropriate photos so didn't want to name it.
I've been wanting to post this one for a while. But have hung-back as I reckon it's a bit hard to guess. But it's a lovely spot and a lovely picture - so here it is anyway. Name the valley we're in (or the one terminating at the saddle) https://tramper.nz/imgcache/28/28300-feature.jpg There are the remains of a hut at the bottom end of the lake below me - though it doesn't appear on any map. A view of the better-known valley to the west would give you some clues - but sadly everything west was full-to-the-brim with cloud. https://tramper.nz/imgcache/28/28302-feature.jpg The hut sat on the rim of an impressive dropoff into the valley below - and given it's eventual fate (scattered across the landscape after the wind destroyed it) would have been an interesting spot in a NWerly. https://tramper.nz/imgcache/28/28301-feature.jpg And finally a more general view - might give an idea of what's going on down-valley https://tramper.nz/imgcache/28/28303-feature.jpg
@Bernieq I see what you mean now
Are you above the Oonah Burn and Elisabeth River? Just a guess, as the Elisabeth is to the west of where I think you’re standing I wouldn’t call that more famous then the Oonah, but the skinny lake seams to line up with a southeasterly view down the Oonah towards the saddle over to the Mica.
Yep. Well done. Was sounding doubtful anyone would get that one without a good photo of the view west. Last day of a fiordland traverse. Previous night at the Oonah saddle. West Arm hut for a final night's peace before 'civilisation'.
How was the travel in the Mica? A few years back I had a vague idea of heading up there to explore that valley in background of your first photo to overlook Lake Lucille, but I’ve never gotten around to heading back over to that area.
