Where is this?

Bit of a challenge since we can't go bush. Where is this photo (winner gets to go next). http://qrp.nz/system/images/6/IMG_20200319_172300_original.jpg Hint: the fenceline is the clue

The first 1.5km from the Wilmot Pass road to just below Disaster Burn were bloody awful with a lot of windfall on the true left and TR alegedly not viable. River is in a slot gorge for this section so choose your side & stick to it until above the gorge. Once above the gorge, TR is easiest to valley head. Next 2km or so were really easy - the whole valley floor is a disaster of rock & shingle and easy going. Remainder had reasonable deer trails 20m or so above the valley floor. Took me 4 hours from the saddle to the road. Think Moirs says 'allow a day'. Really good camping around tarns at the saddle. The head of the Doon valley cutting back SE from the saddle with the Ooonah looked a lovely area to explore. The ridgeline back to West Arm dropping west of Lake Carina _looked_ ok and am tempted to try the loop out one day. Climb to Mt George also looks straight forward. At least the bit I did was and the rest looked easy. http://routeguides.co.nz/routes/1509
Thanks. Its still in the too do list, along with everything else! Name this hut: https://tramper.nz/files/objectversions/28308/DSC_0172%20-%20Copy.JPG https://tramper.nz/files/objectversions/28304/DSC_0172.jpg (edit: yay, the link works!!)
Two bunk biv with open fire. Full of smoke or cold as a freezer - you choose. Not been to that one though, I believe.
That’s right. I stayed at an almost identical one a valley over and nearly smoked myself out, but at least it drove the sandflies away! This one has a very interesting food museum in it!
Must be a recurring theme. Redcliff was the same - still stuffed full of deer cullers supplies ready for the next NZ Forest Service party! Speaking of which I see Redcliff has vanished from DOCs maps. Anyone got any ideas if it's still there?
It’s still on Topomap.co.nz http://www.topomap.co.nz/NZTopoMap?v=2&ll=-45.725716,167.825003&z=14
Any smoked eel on the top shelf?
No takers? It’s Upper Wairaki Hut in the Takitimu Mountains.
Probably a bit too subtle with the smoked eel reference? Upper = Top (shelf) Wairaki = eel (well, lamprey - almost the same thing :)
Oh yeah. Stopped there for lunch on our way down to the lower hut after having come over from Telford Burn Biv via Bull Basin. I buried the tins at the biv as there had been an issue with rusting and leaking and attraction of blowflies. One blowfly took exception to this and signed up with tramper.co.nz so they could troll me. I've actually camped at that hut site at the head of Mica Burn with Janet Macnab. As the lake was long and thin, we thought it should be called L.Honora and the lake on the top of the range should be called L. Janet as it is a little wider. I'll read the instructions again on how to post a pic from one's own computer and try and post a pic of the campsite at the skinny lake. Going up the Mica Burn was straightforward enough. I was relaxed enough to wash my hair. We took a photo of a derelict bivvy up there too. Janet said there were so many sandflies at that lake it could be used as an excuse for being driven mad and committing murder. That was the last time she did a sched outside the tent.
