2 Person tents
We need to upgrade from a one man tent that 2 of us squeeze into if need be, to a 2 man tent for some of the bigger and more remote trips.
Does anyone have any advice and/or experience with light, 2 man tents that are generally four-season tents that would withstand rain, snow, wind etc?

@Dodgydave: we knew that weather was coming so chose a sheltered site on the ridge in anticipation. The tents were good for the conditions. I was impressed when one of the guys commandeered my whisperlite and boiled up a kg of rice for us all while the storm was going on. Impressed both with him and the stove.
Has anyone got any feedback on the Exped Mira 2. I like the idea of the Minaret as it has stood up to NZ conditions but just looking for something lighter than my old Ultimate
I have a friend with the mira two but Im not sure if she has ever had it out in proper rough weather or really exposed positions. She seems happy with it though. Exped normally make good stuff.
We have the Mira II and so far so good. Not had it out in heavy blustery or wet conditions yet, but it's been pitched above the treeline during typical gusty nights and it was fine.

My Weka 3 from Kiwi Camping turned out to be an excellent alternative to the high cost and hi-tech imports. Heavier than it said on the box, but the Weka 2 may be worth checking out. http://www.kiwicamping.co.nz/hiker.cfm?product_id=1762
Of course, lots of people are happy to spend $1,000 on a tent.....
