Getting a lit bit older now with 3 teenage kids and a house to look after. I started off as a tramper with the North Shore tramping club, I became active in the caving world for a while and then moved on to sea kayaking. The boats don't seem to get much use at present. I still go caving and I am involved with cave SAR but I don't do the harder trip that I used to. A great way to combine both tramping and caving is canyoning which I have done a little of over the last few years. I have done some teaching in the outdoors through MSC and NZOIA so still very keen on safety and how people are introduced to activities.
