Shows how close you are to other cases. South island hasnt had a case in 12 days. With a 14 day incubation thats nearly through the first cycle. 2 cycles can be considered in the clear
As long as those Pig Islanders stay up north!
what are Pig Islanders?
Yeah, i had several images of pigs come to mind.
Baby pigs, cute, pink and cuddly all running around innocent like.
And.. old, stinky, huge ones rolling around in their own s.....
Never heard that term before.
Derogatory term for North Islanders , was used by Australian ANZAC soldiers towards North Islanders in Gallipoli. Guessing it comes from the prevalence of wild pigs in the North Island back in the day.
wondered if that was it.. i've only seen pigs once in the hills....

This was from the only shot i've ever fired in NZ. There was no shortage of pigs that late afternoon. (north Island).

This was on the Pisa Range in 2013.
There were more than what there appears to be.
Man, up Glazebrook they were grazing in the open in the paddocks in the middle of the day.
Didn't even budge as we walked through the middle of them chatting.
The joys of shutting a farm up for trophy hunting!
they usually stay out of sight during the day in the NI, I"ve seen plenty of damage from them
They don't stay out of site during the day.
They are everywhere in the North island.
You just don't get into the hills enough too know.
