see if DOC change the hut rules after L2 is relaxed on friday to allow more than 10 people at a hut...
I saw a comment online there were 25 people at waihohonu hut, on the Tongariro Circuit.. not much attempts made at safe distancing...
and here was i worried it wouldnt go above 10
We're finding it hard to get to stay in some huts these days anyway. We have to wait for deep rivers or deep snow sometimes to get a bunk in a hut. Pity the cold weather is going to coincide with the need to stay in a tent.
