Have you had a look at the Cactus Mountain Jacket Keil?
Heavier than most, but very durable. I haven't had any problems with breathability.
It has quite a short cut, but personally I don't mind that.
If you are sweating no hard shell jacket can breath quickly enough to keep you dry. Some do breath better then others, but it is barely noticeable in real life conditions. When tramping in the rain I dress to stay warm, rather then to stay dry. The main purpose of the rain jacket is to block the wind and to trap in as much heat as possible.
Also get one with as many pit zips and other ventilation as possible. Helps slow down the sweat build up.
