Good Billies?

Hi there all. I have my old fashioned aluminium billies which have a wire handle and require billy grips to manipulate. They are ancient and old but still work well. One of the nice features is that with the handles down, they stack inside each other with their lids on as well. This is great if you want to make a wee oven by putting a couple of stones in the bottom of the big one and putting a smaller one inside on top of the stones.
My problem. Where can I get some new ones from. All the places I have looked have the new stainless steel ones with silly handles with burnable parts on them that don't stack inside each other and are by all appearances useless. I am after a good set so I can buy for a present for a friend of mine.
Any suggestions of retailers??? Or Web URLs (NZ of course)

Federated Mountain Clubs was trying to drum up interest for a bulk order to get a heap of them custom made, since they're also very popular with clubs. They have to be custom-ordered in bulk, though, as they're not very marketable these days (when competing with so many imports) and it's not cost-effective to make one or two at a time.
I didn't hear about anything eventuating from that effort. I think it's from an FMC Bulletin in the last couple of years and from memory was in Robin McNeill's Uncle Jacko column. If you contact someone at FMC, or maybe Robin directly, they might know what happened (or is happening).
Those old billies are the best, but getting hard to find. Have you tried, Army Surplus, 2nd hand shops, garage sales, Trade Me, or a 'wanted to buy' ad in your local trader mag or newspaper?
I thought I saw a couple in Rollo's in Nelson. I did not have a long look so might have been stainless.
Just saw these on Trade Me. Only 1 bid of $1 so far.
I think aluminium is better than stainless, less likely to burn you dinner to the bottom. The only risk is alzheimers... now what did I just say?

Heaps of aluminium billies for sale in Christchurch of various sizes in outdoor stores. I picked up my little one which weighs 100g.
