Gillespie through Rabbit pass

A group of Us from Australia are thinking of doing the Gillespie Rabbit Pass circuit in late November. Would this be too early in the season for a clear walk or? Thoughts anyone. We are all reasonably experienced in other places around the globe; but only have one walk in NZ which was in April this year.
need a crystal ball to answer that, all bets are off with the nz weather
I remember it as a great place to be there, are so many options even if the weather is bad. I have tried Rabbit pass twice many years ago and turned back twice. One trip with 3 of us we each had a go at leading the way but all backed out. It is so weather dependent we were putting our ice axes into the mud. I still want to have another go but even if I end up just spending more time up the Wilkin it would still be worth it as a place to visit.
