Copland Pass
Hiya,
Anyone interested in crossing the Copland Pass, after Boxing Day, and before 8 Jan. Must be fit, and familiar with ice axe and crampons. Bunnies need not apply.
Leave a note, thank you

I never went anywhere near the Copland Pass after Boxing Day. I went around the Travers-Sabine circuit at Nelson Lakes and got saturated on the second day, after exceptionally heavy rain overnight 27/28 December 2010. Five hours from Lakehead Hut to John Tait Hut in the rain, and wading and crossing high creeks, and falling up to nipple level in holes along the way! lol.
