Cute little hut tucked away on Slip Flat in the Greenstone Valley. It is a deer hunting hut but DOC has done it up.

Getting there
|
Two hours from the Greenstone carpark. When you are walking along the flat you will see a sign saying Slip Stream emergancy bridge. When you get to the bridge you will see a route to the left. Follow that for a few seconds and you will be at the hut. Coming the other way, from the downstream side of the footbridge across an un-named stream 2.5kms from the Greenstone hut track junction, follow a faint track for 5 minutes up a spur to the hut. |
