old Wangamomona Road

It affects trampers and mountain bikers as much as 4wders. None of us can afford to lose this road
The main issue for us is the old Wangamomona Road. The Council is looking at options for this road that range from stopping it through to maintaining it to an unspecified standard. The council has not maintained this road for at least 20 years so legally it is probably classed as an unformed legal road. 4WD clubs plus other organizations have kept this road open in the meantime and about 15 years ago spent a huge amount of money replacing a bridge on the road. The road is well used not just by 4wds but also trail bikes quads mountain bikes hikers and horse riders. We need to make sure the Council knows that stopping the road will be a massive loss to the whole community
