Tramping clubs

Agree with every thing you have said but i do rise to the occaision when im derided by individuals in close quarters i think ive told you before that im in danger of becomming a grumpy old man:) Becomming.....?

I know of at least one guy who judges his tramping success on whether he has a girlfriend at the end of it.

Oh the conceit! I guess he offers them his hand to hold onto when they cross rivers...Come to think of it, I met my man on a tramp. We had to share a bunk then there were the hot pools.

Hi all, Looks like I am a bit late on this forum, but I am also Hamilton based and have found the Waikato Tramping Club particularly friendly, accommodating to all ages and experiences and generally well organised. Check out their trip programme at: http://www.wtc.org.nz/content.asp I suspect the Hamilton Tramping Club caters for an older and more sedate membership. Good luck and I may see you on the occasional tramp. :)
