Camping in lower Rockburn?

Thinking about a round trip Lake Sylvan - Rockburn - Sugaloaf Pass and back with the kids, what is the flat on the lower Rockburn downstream from the Sugarloaf Pass track junction like?

(I know there are beautiful campsites further up the Rockburn after the track comes down to the river)
(By the way, Stewart Island trip with kids went well, 6 yr old managed a 10 day tramp, will post more and some info on my insect screened tent fly soon)
