Eyre mountains snow level

Anyone had a view of the Eyres (or Taki's) lately? Where's the snow sitting? Enough to make a tops trip above the Cromel / Irthing or similar fun? Not talking an ascent of Helen Peak ... just looking for trapable snow ridgelines and a nice huts down in the bush with the fire glowing and the whole place to myself.
saw some recent pics of the humbolts and they are covered
Madpom, I think you'll be all right. I've been up to Harris Saddle and Conical Hill just over a week ago, and yesterday was over Sugarloaf Pass and into the upper Rockburn, there's quite a bit of snow around but it's all above the 1000m contour. It looked like I could have got up to Park Pass if I'd got up earlier and gone for it. It hasn't really snowed since the big dump about two and a half weeks ago, so stuff seems pretty stable. I'd maybe take a light iceaxe and trail crampons and hope it was hard and crunchy rather than wading through soft stuff. "trapable snow ridgelines" - Are you planning to lay traplines along the ridges?!
No. Just can't type: trampable. Thanks for the info.
Trampable: Thought so, but I was having visions of you plowing along waist deep snow ridges with a great load of gin traps on your back.
Madpom, how were the Taki's or Eyre Mountains, assuming you did make it up there? Always nice to hear a report as to actual conditions following pre trip speculation.
@ian: never made it out the door. Woke up saturday feeling crook as the proverbial dog. Told myself to toughen up and get on with it but effort required to carry pack to the door convinced me it was not going to happen. Spent the weekend looking out at all that beautiful snow and feelin sorry for myself. 'S all flippin melted now too ...
