Tracks in trouble

It seems we're in the unenviable position of losing tracks due to storms, neglect, lack of funding. This concerns me. It's appalling to me to think that classics like the Inland Pack Track have been closed for two years with no light on the horizon.
I would like to start a log of what tracks or other facilities that are currently closed, unwalkable or otherwise in jeopardy. Some of these items have repairs planned, while others do not. Can you add to my list?
Major tracks:
* Inland Pack Track in Paparoa National Park closed between Fossil and Bullock Creek due to Cyclone Ita damage. This is the primary overnight track of this park.
* Dart Track in Mount Aspiring National Park is closed by a lake and an active landslide.
* Trains Track closed.
Access problems:
* Bullock Creek road closed due to flood damage (access to Cave Creek).
* Access easement to Kirtle Burn and Meg Huts have locked gates.
* Roaring Meg Pack Track closed by landowner.
* Cardrona-Cromwell Pack Track closed by landowner.
* Otaki Gorge Road closed.
Lost huts:
* Casey Hut in Arthur's Pass burned down Oct 2015. Trust/Poulter Hut is nearby.
* Gardiner Hut in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park removed due to avalanche damage.
* Midway Hut in Te Urewera burned down.
Damaged huts:
* Trust/Poulter hut has no toilet as of Sep 2015.
* Leaning Lodge in Rock and Pillar Range closed pending engineering report.
* Waterfall Hut in Ruataniwha CP closed due to flood damage.
* Palmer Hut toilet blown away.
* Turere Hut toilet closed due to plumbing issues.
* Tahupo Hut closed due to slip.
Little tracks:
* Sharplin Falls Track in Canterbury closed since Feb 2015 due to rock fall.
* Waterfall Track in Lewis Pass closed due to flood damage, apparently permanently.
* Atene Skyline Track in Whanganui closed due to storm damage.
Manganui Gorge Access Track Mt Taranaki , slip has eroded next to track leaving an exposed drop. one casualty so far....
Would you reckon that the Inland Pack Track would be reopened as part of the new Great Walk down that way?
To add to the lost huts, the former Ketetahi Hut on the Tongariro Circuit damaged after the 2012 eruption is an obvious one I guess. Now only a shelter, and doing the circuit would make staying at the Oturere Hut and Waihohonu Hut a very short day walk.
Track closures, nearer Auckland sadly quite few tracks in Waitakere's and Hunua's have been closed due to fears of Kauri dieback.
The Pyke29 will run down the Pororari River, so crossing the Inland Pack Track which traditionally exits down the Punakaiki River.
Matthew, your one
"* Turere Hut toilet closed due to plumbing issues. "
I think it's actually the public toilets at the end of the track by Turere bridge.
I have emailed Wellington Doc Visitor centre to confirm.
Will update when I hear back.
@Matthew
Yip, it's the public toilets at the end of the track by Turere bridge, not the Lodge/Hut
For the last year the lower Korokoro valley tracks in Belmont Regional Park - from Cornish Street up to the dam - have been closed due to severe storms and flooding that occurred May last year, which washed away tracks and bridges. GWRC are working on it, but successive estimates of when the tracks would reopen have come and went. Maybe in another month or few?

once apon a time all the track storm damage was cleared up by DOC. they put a lot of resources into keeping the great walks and high use tracks open, sorting damage rapidly... the rest of the tracks are a lottery
I think they have a grading system now. Also they offloaded a lot of maintenance to contractors (not all paid) I heard a story about a club being offered the contract on Atiwhakatu track Hidden in the fine print was a clause demanding a 14 day turn around on problems. Not doable for a club. Lesser tracks can be up to 16 months. We did Waiapehu 3 weeks after its do up and 2 weeks after a big storm. Windfall everywhere. Probably didnt get cleaned up for more than a year. Then there are the tracks Doc pretends dont exist. I doubt much work gets done on Blockxv1 or the olt track to Totora flats
