Routeburn Transportation in May
Going to be tramping the Routeburn in early May but finding any type of transportation to and from the track is more difficult than I anticipated. Some services still run but if I happen to be the only one traveling that day I would have to pay for the price of four or whatever the case may be. I was wondering if anyone had any information to services that ran just after the peak season as I will be starting the track either May 3rd or 4th.
Have you contacted Track Net in Te Anau?There were other people on board when we went early May.They seem to stop services for a couple of days when booking season ends, then gear up again while the weather is favourable.I think we went May 1st.
