Hey I found these at the supermarket and bought some to take walking. Peanuts are good energy and protein, but peanut butter can get a bit messy. They are $6 for 6, so about double the jar price.

I've been 'borrowing' the Eta peanut butter single serves from breakfast buffets for years, now I can finally become a law abiding citizen :-)

Yeah it is pricy. But I think if you're tramping you *deserve* it. Also, check out their almond and cashew butters to put the price of peanut butter in perspective.
You guys are thinking too small.

Funny, I actually bought a box of these the other day. Seem like they could be pretty good, though they are a smidge pricey
