Down supply

Hey everyone, I am wondering were in NZ do you get down for DIY bags and hammock quilts? I have googled it with no luck. Other than following a duck or goose around I am stumped. So is there suppliers here or do I need to buy it internationally? Thanks folks
I have no idea, but you could try asking an independent repair shop like Twin Needle where they get their supply. They might sell you some if you ask for it. https://www.twinneedle.co.nz/packs/
Duck shooters probably have a few kilos they want to get rid of
Maybe you can harvest some from second hand bags and discarded feather duvet jackets. My parents made several nylon taffeta sleeping bags from a old quilt way back in 1961. I met a young lady recently who had a wee rip in her ubiquitous black Katmundu jacket. She was going to throw it out so I told her about Twin Needle!
I have previously got extra down from domex to top up an old bag. They sent it in the post.
All these practical solutions - I vote for following a duck or goose around!
Thank you all. I got in touch with twin needle and they can help me. It sure does beat following around a bunch of geese.
Disappointed I don't get to see video of goose chasing. http://memecrunch.com/meme/3VIQ/disappointed-turtle/image.jpg
@evo since you've spotted a gap in the market, you could make that your next video project ;)
Many years ago my then wife collected 2 or 3 old sleeping bags, quilts or whatever and took them to the equivalent of Twin Needle and had them made into an 'eiderdown', as quilts were known as back then, with one side having heaps more down than the other. Solved the age old problem of her 'sleeping cold' and me 'sleeping hot'. Wonder why no one sells such things, as difference in sleeping temperatures seems a common problem for couples.
