Canterbury tracks badly snow-affected
I`ve posted elsewhere on this site, but if you`re planning a walk in the Canterbury foothills area & it`s below the bushline,EXPECT deep snow & major tree-fall.
DOC will be aware of the damage but it`ll take some time to clear these tracks.I`d check with DOC first. We`ve had some thaw since Friday but the forecast is for more snow tonight(sunday 21 June).Winter has knocked on the door & barged in!
