Has anyone been to Mount Ross in the Hauangis recently?
Im just after track conditions and probable times from the Ruakocaputuna roadend and Sutherlands Hut

@geeves. Was hoping someone with more recent experience would answer. Was last there about 5 years back. Track down to Averills Hut from summit was ok: marked and cut. South along the range from Mt Ross summit was windfallen and scrubby. Came up from saddle to sth west and last 100 vertical meters were slow & scrubby to reach top.

I was hoping for something more recent. Info Im getting elsewhere is suggesting its going to be an ambitious journey.
