rees dart

Thanks for the info on the falls.what about doing the rees dart track is one way better to start from than the other? will I hit any snow the first week in feb.any other suggestions on tracks I could do that are not great walks? Are there any shuttle sevices from one end of the rees dart track to the other? Thanks Ray
I expect it won't be long before the Rees-Dart becomes listed as a great walk. More foot bridges, flush toilets and huts accommodating dozens now. Because of the transport most people start at Muddy Ck on the Rees, being dropped off at about 10am and finish at Chinamans Bluff on the Dart, being picked up at about 2pm. It's just as good a walk in reverse but you just need to consider the transport times. Minimal if not nil chance of snow in Feb. at the valley floor level. Lots of mud at the start in the Rees. Good to attempt the side trip to Dart glacier from Dart hut. Only needs a day. Just google Rees Dart transport. Bus usually leaves Qt at about 8am. Appx $50 to Muddy Ck or Chinamans Bluff.
