zpacks challenger rain gear

anyone had any experience with zpacks challenger rain gear, are they very durable?
no, but from what i've read cuben isnt as abrasion resistant as nylon, may not be the best if you're bush bashing. cuben has a high tensile strength. good for items like packs thats where dynema reinforced nylon packs come in, cuben is a sheet form of dynema. the lates version of those coats are are laminated with polyester. not sure how much that improves abrasion resistance.
I haven't used (or seen) the zpacks raingear, but there seems to be a number of reviews available online using a quick google search. John Abela of hikelighter.com seems to be one of the biggest supporters of the jacket. If you search through the forums on backpackinglight.com there are several threads about the jackets. One of the members, Richard Nisley, has done some waterproofness/breathability industry standard testing on the cuben fibre event fabric used. In NZ I found the people behind these blogs have used the zpacks raincoat so contacting them may be useful. lightweightrob.com restless-kiwi.blogspot.com jacket review on this post http://restless-kiwi.blogspot.co.nz/2015/03/final-gear-review.html An Aussie climber's review http://fatcanyoners.org/bush-guide/zpacks-waterproof-breathable-cuben-fiber-rain-jacket/ The owner of zpacks also completed the Te Araroa trail 2012-2013 using his own gear. http://zpacks.com/adventures/ta_gear.shtml
