Northern Island - Mid-January 2010
Hi! I'm a 26 year old German tramper and going to visit my brother next January in New Zealand. It's my first trip to NZ, but I did multi-day tramping in the Alps, Norway and Canada. So I'm let's say a bit experienced. I would like to do one of the Great Walks on the Northern Island, either the Tongariro Northern Circuit or the Lake Waikaremoana Track. Anybody also a bit experienced and free in this time is welcome to join... (If you're also new to New Zealand, my brother will help us with the booking and that staff...)

Hey I have just recently done the Tongariro Northern Circuit and will be here probably untill feb 2010, so if you do come over we can do some tramping if you like :D I dont usually climb mountins but only because I only have limeted gear, if you want to do some climbing i will rent some out.
I want to do do big hikes through forests and camp alot.
