Profiles

I seem to recall normclimb bemoaning the lack of info from some members in their respective profiles and of late the lack seems to be increasing or is it just me? Where your situated in the country and some background, years tramping and relative experience adds some welcome colour to your comments and discussions when you make them.

Fair reflection bigpaul. Your point seems to have been lost somewhat. Although I am a fairly new member, I have noticed a similar pattern regarding a lack of personal infro from other contributors. I would not expect people to tell us their, name, age, and telephone number etc but a little bit of personal info does make the communication process more enjoyable. I wouldn't say forums are an opposite of impersonality, but the more they try not to be impersonal (within the realm of cyber safety)then the more interesting and social they are.. In short, the more enjoyable
rileyz: I've just appended a comment to the end of your article for now. Please feel welcome to incorporate it if you like.
