Mt Somers Track / July 19th

Myself and one other are going to do the Mt Somers track starting and finishing at sharplin falls car park via the south face route. All going well 2 days 1 night at Woolshed creek hut.
Anybody who is keen get in touch! the more the better!

I could be quite keen but Im not a speedster and enjoy taking small pauses along the way to take a swig of my water, take some pics and take it all in. Not sure what your walking preference is?

Hi Chris, did you end up doing this track?
I did it with the tramping club last weekend. After the climb up Staveley Hill and slipping and sliding around in some snow, my legs fatigued early on. I was completely knackered by the time we got to the Rhyolite Track Junction, and then there was still that climb up to the Bus Stop overhang to go!
Got there in the end though :o)
Good effort, Lisa. You must be getting fitter. You know the club motto: Keep up or die!
