Hi i will put the Greenstone and caples pics on when i sort them out also is at here Hollyford track route guide in site as i cant seem to find one

You have some awesome pics there, what a great record of the trip. I have to say that you were VERY lucky with the weather. I guided on the track for a season back in the 1970s. I can't say I saw many days like these.

I always suggest Moirs Guide Book if you want information about this area.

When i did the Caples and Greenstone the weather went from good to bad to ugly and people on the routeburn had Ugly weather.I was lucky as i walked up the hard section to McKellar Saddle and then down to the Upper Caples Hut in good weather,then it went Ugly but that is part of Tramping .I will put the rest of the pics on soon as im back to work now
