Heartbleed
Hi everybody,
You may have heard about this in the news, basically a bug that exposes server memory to hackers. This site is not affected by this bug as it is not running OpenSSL, the widely used tool with the vulnerability.
However, note that data you send to and from this site is not encrypted. Don't send sensitive data, and don't use the same password here that you use for sensitive data (e.g. banking or even email).
Thanks,
Matthew
nice time for a security update warning. Interesting this bug has surfaced just after the demise of xp support. Im sure its a coincidence. Will the next version of ssl run on xp?
Whats the next bug that those still running xp need to know all about?
