Sleeping bag for Routeburn/ Tongarino/ ...

Hi! I’m visiting New Zealand next February with my wife. And we are going to tramp the Routeburn, the Tongarino, the lake Waikaremoana and the Abel Tasman. We need help deciding what sleeping bag to take. We will be sleeping in the DOC huts in all the tracks. So, what temperature rating should my bag be? Are the nights could down there?! malakias
My philosophy with sleeping bags is that I take my good down bag with me everywhere, summer or winter. It has a full length zip so I can sleep with it open in warmer weather. As you are sleeping in huts on all your trips you will probably be Ok with a lighter bag, though on the Routeburn you are at a higher altitude and further south. There is always the possibility of a southerly at any time of year. But if you have extra clothes you can put on in the sleeping bag you will be OK.
I was thinking about a bag with a confort rating of 7/8 Cº. would that be ok? I want to go as light as I can. It's going to be 17 days with the rucksack on my back!!!
