Tongario Crossing 18. sept (wednesday)
Anyone up for a day hike on wednesday? the weather is supposed to be nice that day and i'd like to find a partner or a group to go with.

if the weather is good, the shuttles will be running, there should be plenty of people on the crossing...
I am also waiting for a nice day and good weather to do this track, besides I don't have crampons. Does anyone know if they're still required?
unless the freezing level is well above the top of the crossing and theres white stuff up there, which there is at present then you may well need them.
