Fairydown sleeping bags

on Trademe. They would be ok for winter tramping staying in huts?
depends how old and wheat condition they are, i've got a fairydown everest bag, over twenty five years old, its still fine for winter in a tent.
Fairydown made many bags right from only just warm enough for the tropics down to bags that didnt require the tent at the south pole in winter Which model bag is it?
Yes many Fairydown models would be suitable for winter use when staying in huts. When working from huts and tent camps I used to use the Fairydown Explorer all year around. Juggling the amount of clothing worn or just using the bag as a duvet in the hottest weather worked. At one stage in autumn I tried an Everest from the NZFS stores but found it too hot and returned it & used a lower heat rated bag for the next mission in the hills.
I bought a mint Eurolite (650 loft) off Trademe for $30. Been down to -2 in my tent and kept me nice and toasty (I use a cotton liner).
