West coast early April

Hi All, looking for a tramping partner for trip into the head of the Landsborough early April. Will head in from the west coast via the Douglas valley and exit via the karangarua. Expect to take about 6-7 days. Please MSG for further details. also welcome information about route conditions.
Sounds a neat trip & something I'd like to do some time. The timing is no good for me though as a mate & I have something else arranged for early April. Hope you have a good one! On your return a report on here would be good.

As an update for others, judging from early weather forecasts I'd be starting around the 3rd or 4th April. First night cassel flat hut. I'm currently in Queenstown and may have transport to the start however the route is also on the Newman/intercity line between here and franz. 0223 3886659
