Spaniard spur track, Mt Fyfe / Kowhai River

Has anyone been down this track? Wondering how rough it is (aside from being steep) and what kind of condition it's in.
Hi, thanks for your reply, we went to Nelson Lakes instead this time but I always have Kaikoura on the back up trip list in case of norwesterly weather
