Invitation: 5 pass and Frew Saddle tramps Dec-Jan

Hi fellow trampers,
I'm scheduled to do 5 pass in Fiordland on 20-26 Dec, Castle Rocks Hut 28-29, Mt Fox & Craig Peak(1,914m) 30-31, Frew Saddle-Toaroha in West Coast 2-8 Jan 2013.
The Jetstar flight AKL to QST is $79 on 19 Dec. Flight back from Christchursh is $59 on 10 Jan.
I had 15+ years tramping experience in NZ. Male at 60 but do trail running and half marathon.
I am now solo. Will bring tent or bivvy bag. Ultra-light.
Do you or any mate of yours keen to join? You can join any tramp on the specific date.

Briefing: difficulty, demanding, one of 12 classic tramps in NZ, no huts to stay, should bring your tent and cooking utensils. Start and finish at Routeburn Shelter, loop walk.

Is that the standard Five Passes tramp, Lucky??, or will you include Lake Nerine and North Col?
If so, can you give me (us) an update on the snow on the south side of North Col?
Yarmoss is heading that way in the New Year and has also promised a 'heads-up' on conditions.
Hi Bernieq, my attemp is standard 5 pass but could be shorten by doing Lake Nerine and North Col all depend on the snow condition. The slope to Lake Norine is likely snow covered at this time of the year and easy glissage to the lake.
I got no idea about the snow on the south side of North Col but will consult DOC office in Queenstown.
I will check with Yarmoss about his route.

Thanks Lucky7755 - by late Feb, I suspect there won't be any snow on the slope from Park Pass to Lake Nerine. If there is, we'll go through Theatre Flat and Sugarloaf instead.
FYI: Routeburn Shelter to Park Pass :
via Lake Nerine is 23km
via Sugarloaf Pass is 17km
(ie via Lake Nerine is 6km longer)
