17 Day Trek to Everest Base Camp

Take really warm gear, puffer jacket, hat, cloves, thermals, waterproof jacket & Over Trou. especially for the higher altitude, it can turn really cold. Most people have porters to carry their gear but you'll need a small pack. Definitively good tramping boots needed. Most people have a walking pole, but leave your iceaxe and crampons behind unless you plan to climb one of the peaks such as Island Peak. Everest Base Camp is a bit of a tourist hike these days, but fewer people the higher you go and Rhododendrons should be blooming at that time of year. Enjoy, those mountains are awesome.
