routeburn greenstone loop
we are looking at doing this starting from Glenorchy
any ideas one which is the best way to do it
Routeburn or greenstone first ?
Hey, I've done both tracks heaps, reckon do the Routeburn first as to walk it from Glenorchy towards The Divide affords the best views and you're walking with the crowd so you're not constantly running in to them all day. Also you should think about returning via the Caples, not the Greenstone (if you can hack another saddle!), the valley is more enclosed and more beautiful than the Greenstone, in my opinion
The big loop is in my wish list. Can't wait. Enjoyed the Routeburn about 10 years ago.
