Whirinaki River to Lake Waikaremoana?
Has anyone recently travelled through the Wairoa Stream just east of Rogers Hut to the Waiau River and on to Lake Waikaremoana? We are experienced navigators/trampers but just want a bit of advice as to conditions and hazards as the Wairoa Stream and Waiau River look pretty gorgey on the map.
