Looking for tramping partners (and transport)

Anyone from Nelson and Bays heading south for tramping? I'm an experienced hiker from Canada keen to do any multi-day tramps on the South Island, particularly further south. I don't have transport but happy to share cost of driving. Available Nov. 2 to Dec. 12 and January 15th onwards to mid-March. I'd love to get down to Milford Sound without hitchhiking...

We are two Canucks (from Victoria, BC) on the south island through mid-March. Have car, can squeeze extra in but not in luxury!
Currently in Te Anau - looking at crossing the Gertrude / Adelaide Saddles.
Also interested in other tramps. Have tent, but mostly doing huts. OK with backcountry (preferred). Avoiding the popular routes (except a couple we have done).
