Kaimanawa Snow

Does anyone know how much snow is around on the Kaimanawa tops at the moment? My Dad and I are planning to do the Umukarikari - Waipakihi - Thunderbolt loop next week.
Hi did Tong X weekend before last - could see across - there was a little bit of snow on Island Range (that I could see) couldn't see any on Umukarikari - but I see Turoa had 15cm on Tues nite - so could be a bit more - sorry bit vague - hopefully someone will have more info - great tramp BTW - did it November last year - was really really dry then though as had not rained all of October - : )
Just come back from a night in the Ruahines where we had a dusting of snow on Wednesday night. Driving back up the Desert Road we could see snow on Middle range and Umakarikari, but I would expect that to be gone by next week. That is the first snow on the Kaimanawas for a few weeks now. The sun is shining so the snow will melt away fairly rapidly I think. Have a nice trip - great bit of country.
Thanks for your info. Went down after Labour weekend and there was almost no snow, just a few tiny patches. Had fabulous weather for the trip, just a little breezy.
