what to do in 4 days near Mt Cook area

Hi, Depending on your level of experience, fitness, desired length of walk and gear you have there are loads of options up the Hopkins valley just out of Twizel. The valley is broad and open at first but it gets better as you go up it. The Huxley branch is interesting. This option might require all your 4 days though. Temple Stream and out via South Huxley. Other challenging day trip options around Cook area might include Sefton Biv, that mountain right across from the Hermitage (Wakefield??). Ball PAss is a 2 day option with axe and crampons as essential. There are easier walks around he village if that's more your style. And depending on the time of year you might encounter snow enroute to Mueller. Have fun!
