Best place to buy boots

Thanks for your reply! Today I was in Whangerei and took a look at the boots. Unfortunately none of them were available in my size, so I could only rely on what my friend told me about wearing them. The three boots from which I can decide are: Hunter http://bootznz.com/hiking-boots.htm Tramper http://www.lastrite.co.nz/product_info.php?cPath=1013_1018&products_id=568 Yardmate http://www.lastrite.co.nz/product_info.php?cPath=1013_1018&products_id=579 I finally decided to order Hunter for $270, since it has the screwed soles and locked somehow more comfortable than Yardmate which has a screwed sole too. The only downside which I discovered is the black part at the top which is no real leather but plastic. So, since I could not try them, was it a good decision to go for Hunter based on all information or experience available, or should I rather change my order to the Yardmate? Another thing which concerns me is the fact, that the Hunters are originally from the firm in Christchurch and the boot I'll get is made by them in Whangerei (possibly not even with the machines from Christchurch?). Will I have to fear a lack of quality compared to the original Hunter boots? I'm just asking because the Tramper and Yardmate did not so solid and of much quality than the Hunter. ...So much trouble with a high-involvement purchase decision... Thanks anyway!
