Heaphy Track
Hey all,
Is it possible to hike the heaphy track at the end of August? If so, how much snow should one expect?
It should be, Ive done it in August. Really pays to just check conditions prior to your trip. We had no snow, or any rain, with just the odd patch of ice along the edge of the track. No people either, was only just the four of us. If you are on your own, you may find transport a little expensive unless you try to book on another organised trip.
Its really great at that time of year - enjoy.
