New to tramping!
Hi
I havn't really done any proper tramping before...just short walks and the glacier hike(I live in Franz Josef) but want to get into it. If there is anyone around mid-July that fancies giving a moderate one a go drop me a message as I'd love the company! My fitness level is not great but hoping to improve...I am an easy going 25 yr old female from UK.
You should sign up for the Permolat email group http://www.remotehuts.co.nz/groups/permolat It is a very active group on the West Coast that are involved with opening up overgrown tracks and restoring huts. I am sure you will find a kindred soul there.
Hi yeah would be keen for a walk sometime over the winter.I have done a moderate amount of tramping over the last few years.I am a 27yo male in otago.Let me know what your plans are.Brendan
Depending on commitments, I could be interested in doing a few walks if they are north of Greymouth.
I Live in Blenheim so distance prevents me getting much further south for short trips.
Out of my range, but Welcome Flat is a good beginners tramp, although its quite long. There are good hot pools and I been told its very scenic in winter.
