Anyone for tramping in Tongariro in July?

Hi everyone!
I'll be, between 8-14 July, around Tongariro N.P. I'm considering many plans (climbing Ruapehu, Tongariro Northern circuit,..). Any idea would be thanked :)
I'm from Spain (this will be my 3rd travel to NZ) and I'd like to meet some partners for getting nice walks. I'm bringing with me my ice-axe, crampons,... I didn't ever tramp in NZ (just day walks), but I'm used to tramp in summer&winter time in Europe and Morocco.
