Wanted: Tramping/Adventure Partners for June 2011!

Hey there, I am free for the month of June and looking to spend as much of it outside as possible! I'm looking for another female or group tramping partners around my age(27). If you are off to do another outdoor activity, I'm keen to learn as well! I'm starting in Southland, and ending in Auckland. So I'm game for pretty much any location. Drop me a line! Darcie

Hey Darcie, I just did the 10 days trek on Stuard Island. I first thought i might meet some people on the way, but at the end i was completely alone for all these days. Was an experience but I don't want to go alone again:) I'm on the south Island and want to do some treks like the great traverse (it's routeburn connected with another trek) or the Milford trek. I don't know if you still want to do some tramping, but if yes just contact me! I want to start the trek in the next few days...

How was the Northwest circuit this time of year? Cold? Snow? I would have liked to walk the track too, but when I was down south I didn't find anyone in the hostels going.
