Cape Brett March

Hi, short notice but myself and a friend are doing the Cape Brett track this sat 5th March, staying overnight at the hut and getting a water taxi back on sunday. Just wondering if anyone wants to join us. I've done it before, a stunning walk, not the easiest but satisfying once you reach the end and gives a far different perspective to the Bay of Islands! Thanks
Hi did you do this walk - could I ask how much is the water taxi back - and would you have a contact for the water taxi peeps - thanks
Hi,we weren't able to do the walk in the end because of ocean conditions meaning the taxi couldn't get to Cape Brett to drop us off. We had booked the water taxi through the russell info office on the wharf, it's $230 to cape brett or $190 to deep water cove which is about 2 1/2 hours walk away from the hut, so pays to get a group together. I think It's still a nice tramp to do there and back staying overnight at the hut which is what I have done before, but my companions didn't fancy it especially in the rain.
