Kepler track in late april
Hi, i'm a newbie to this forum. My wife and i are planning to do the kepler track in april. All our bushwalking experience has been in australia. We realise its late in the season but its the only time we could get off.
Will there be much snow?
Are the huts heated?
We have 0 and -7 degree bags, will the lighter ones suffice in the huts?
Should we carry a tent as a precaution?
I understand that the huts have stoves, but do we need to carry our own anyway?
I am a bit of a " gram nazi" and am very keen to carry the lightest possible without compromising safety.
Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
