Gear review forum?

Was pondering this one myself. Gear reviews work better formatted as articles with followup comments, rather than a forum. In forums (fora?) the substance gets lost amidst the subsequent chatter.
Noting to stop people writing such articles now, or course, but a 'gear' heading would make them easier to locate if people did start writing them.

There is currently a gear forum, and there's a Gear category that you can assign to articles. I agree with madpom that if you're going to review something you're probably better to write an article as it's less likely to get buried.
The "gear" articles are not promoted in menus anywhere because there's virtually nothing in there. If people are keen to start writing reviews and placing them here, I'm happy to find somewhere to promote them!
Yeah, I was thinking of writing something about my first impreessions of an Aarn pack. That would be the perfect place
