Hollyford Swing Bridge
Hi out there, was just wondering if anyone knows if the swing bridge at on the hollyford track has been repaired yet. Had to choose another tramp when we were there in late Dec(2010) as it had been washed away. Did the St James Walkway instead but are hoping to do the hollyford in March.

Which swing bridge? We tramped the Hollyford last March and the day after we finished they had the worst weather for years and evacuations around the area.

I know a Lady who walked it in december and she did not mention any broken bridges.I just had a look on DOC Alerts section and there was no mention of broken bridges
Go to Docs click on parks and Recreation then click on Plan and prepare then click on Alerts then find the park that the Track is in then find the Track it gives some good info

I had asked DOC in Te Anau 3 weeks ago about the Hollyford, especially because we had some very heavy rains lately.
The lady at the counter said she had no notices that there was a problem on the Hollyford.
